In the spirit of supporting artists to showcase their valuable insights 

Deep Yellow is hosting an online display 

"Fresh Air".    

By entering the competition you accept the following rules of entry!

Deadline for submissions :  TBA Coming soon!

Eligibility  :  Reside in The United States & Canada.

Frist Image  :  $25

Additional images:  $5 each additional entry. 

Mediums: Oil, Sculpture, Pottery, Watercolor, Acrylic, Mixed media, Fiber Arts. No photography, animation, video. 

Awards:  First Place $1,000, Second Place $400, Third Place $200, 8 honorable mentions $100. 

Online Exhibition:  Artists 80% Gallery 20%. All paintings must be for sale.

TBD : A selection of accepted entries will have the option to participate in a gallery display located in Meridian, Idaho from Oct. - Nov. 2021.  Depending on Covid 19 guidelines. In person Gallery: Artist 60% Gallery 40%.

Notification : Artists will be notified approximately three (3) weeks after the deadline in an email about the selection status of their entries. 

Rules of Entry :  Work must have been created within the last two years. Work may not be copied from copywritten material.  No work partially or wholly painted by another.  Work may have been done in a class or workshop, but only using reference material belonging to the sole artist.
Work must be the same work represented by the submitted digital images. No altered digital images may be submitted. 
There is no size limit for this show as it is an online exhibition. Work must be the size represented in the submission form.  
Framing and Presentation:
Framing is not necessary for this show as it is online only. If pieces are not framed, please reflect that when pricing your work. Work may still be sold in our online gallery.
Prices for artwork indicated at the time of submission may not be re-negotiated at a later date. Submitted pieces may be used as promotional material by Deep Yellow online and in printed format. Information on work(s) (including title and price) may not be changed after submission.  

Liability:  Legal Agreement and Participant’s Waiver: Submission of work automatically waives any claim for damage or loss against Deep Yellow, including the members, employees, agents and volunteers. The artist is responsible to ship the artwork within a week of the sale. The artist is responsible for handling all their own artwork.  The shipping price will have been indicated on entry form previous to showing. Deep Yellow will not assume any liability for loss or damage while in shipping or at any other time. Work should be independently insured by the artist.

Usage Rights:  The artist retains all copyright interests or claims that they have in their art. By submitting images, you give Deep Yellow the right to use and reproduce the images to market and document the exhibition, and to enable the image to be part of an online exhibition.

Terms and Conditions:  Deep Yellow reserves the right to adjust any deadline(s) as the result of causes beyond its immediate control. Payment of the submission fee indicates acknowledgement of all terms and conditions.   To Enter scroll down below!
